Play-ball (Sport & Movement Programme)

Kids at Play (map)

Playball is a sport and movement programme for children between the ages of two and nine. The programs are taught in a fun-filled, energetic, positive environment. At the face level, Playball is a program that aims to improve fundamental movement development skills and refine sports skills and techniques. The success of this seemingly "sports programme" is not only that! An educational coaching system in every aspect has been developed and improved. Playball programs are age-specific, considering the difference in the children's cognitive, emotional, social and motor development in each age group.

Pyjama Day

Kids at Play (map)

In honour of Matariki and due to popular demand, everyone is invited to stay in their PJs on Thursday, 19th June. Children are welcome to bring a named cuddly toy for the occasion, and we'll have lots of slumber fun. If they insist on their slippers and it's a wet day, please provide extra outdoor shoes for the odd sprint around the bike track.

Thank you!

KAP Annual Centre Photos

Kids at Play (map)

Each year, Avon Studio (James) carries out children's (individual) photos and group photos in the Under/over Twos. If your child does not attend on a Monday, you are most welcome to bring them for their photo (you must stay to ensure the centre's licence numbers are not compromised). U2s children must be here by 9.00 am, and O2s’s children must be here by 10.15 am. Arriving on time allows the children to familiarise themselves with the photographer 'James.’

We have worked alongside James for many years and can vouch for his ability to capture stunning photographs. He creates a calm environment that allows the children to feel at ease.
